I'm looking for something that isn't your run-of-the-mill standard folder, or pocket knife.

Right now I have three knives that have caught my eye.

1) The Kershaw E.T.

2) The Spyderco Spyderfly.

3) The Spyderco Poliwog.

I am interested in learning how to "do the dance" of the bailsong, but I am a big Kershaw fan. The E.T. looks very interesting and was wondering how it compares to playing with a bailsong.

Then there is the Poliwog . . . to me it is very similar to a pug . . so ugly . . .it' kinda cute . .go ahead and bash me on that  . .but it dose look tough as well.

Any opinions or anyoe with exp. on these knives?

The Spyderfly: it's handles are pretty long and the steel construction doesn't make it light. But it's very unique in terms of style. Why don't you pick up a garbage balisong at your local shop to start out and see if you are still interested after a while?

The Poliwog: that humpbacked thing that folds into a triangle is repulsive, as well as the ball for a lock that looks like it's about to fall out any second. But on the plus side, when that happens, you can use your underwear waist-band to make a slingshot. Use the steel ball to range your slingshot, and then launch that ugly knife away.
