Thanks for the feedback......I have one but I don’t remember the model. It has a unique set of tools that includes a comb which at the time of purchase was useful. Now that I don’t have hair it sits in an edc pouch. It’s similar to my Explorer but w/o the scissors because it has a magnifying glass (designed for tick removal). It has a locking blade and a rubberized grip. Unfortunately the corkscrew doesn’t fit the micro screwdriver from SAK. Quality is good but not better. I prefer my SAK Explorer because it has Philips screwdriver and scissors. I also like MKM if looking for SAK alternatives.
As I said above I still have mine, scales are fine.I’ve read (google ”swiza long term review”) and seen youtube reviews where people have experienced the rubbery scales peeling off in long run.
A couple of knives made by SWIZA have caught my interest......
Would any members recommend the brand?
I won't raise-the-dead on your thread, and will just say I appreciate you linking it! Good review! They are good quality. Here's a review I did 4 years ago, still have it works good.
As there was an old swiza thread resurrected. I thought I would share a review for an Aussie forum that I did in December 2019.
Swiza
is a relative new knife making company but an old company., that is now producing their own swiss army style knife. A swiss watch making company that dates to the late 1800's.
As most people are probably aware, Victorinox bought out wenger a few years back, as I read the CEO of Wenger became the CEO of Swiza knife division but I couldn't verify it.
I have the swiza D04, since they first come out.
I have included a pic with my SAK...
