Hi everyone,

I just spent the weekend trying out my new Panawal, i actually demolished a small wooden shed with it. Did the job with no problems so i am very impressed.

Now i want something a bit lighter to take on my belt when i go fishing, camping etc.

I only intend to use it for light chopping & slicing (maybe cleaning small game). I was looking at the SN1,WW2 & the Sirupati.

Has anyone put any of these knives to similar use and if so what do you recommend.
Thanks for any input.

I don't have any experience (yet) with the Sirupati or WWII, but I own a Panawal, SN-1 and a Mini-Jungle. If it were me, I'd get a Mini-Jungle to carry along fishing or hunting. It's a great belt knife, has similar dimensions to an 8" Bowie and will give you performance far in excess of its size for light chopping. It also works pretty well for slicing, dicing and quartering. I've tried mine in the kitchen on chickens, veggies and steaks. Works great. It would also be a dynamite knife for skinning & quartering deer size game.

PC: You've already got my email, but I'd echo Blackdog - the Mini is a great knife (but one that doesn't have as much fame as it may deserve due to my failure to EVER post it on my website

The mini jungle is great for a light carry hunting and backpacking. I don't know about skinning and will defer to Blackdog on that one. I hunt birds and the karda will do fine for that. Mine will be mostly carried for emergency survival tool for chopping, shelter building and such.
