Hi everyone,

Recently I bought a lansky angled arkansas stone scharpening system.

Unfortunately the stones werent any good and I can, fortunately bring it back.

Now, I still want a sharpening system, but I dont know what to choose...

This is what I can choose

Lansky Angled Ceramic system
Lansky spyderco look a like system
Spyderco sharpmaker

Whats the best advice and is the lansky spyderco lookalike close in quality and result as the original spyderco?

Thnx in advance

Have you sharpened anything even once? On bottom of a coffee cup?
I think the best advice is try them out in the store :)
watch the videos for both systems so you can learn about all the features

lansky 4 rod turn box comes with 600 grit and 1000 grit and 20dps (40 inclusive) and 25dps(50 inclusive) angle settings
sharpmaker comes with P1500 and P2500-P3000 grits, with 15 dps (30 inclusive) and 20 dps (inclusive) angle settings
fish hook groove...

The Sharpmaker is definitely more versatile than the Lansky Turn Box, but is considerably more expensive. The turn box, for what it does, does a good job. With any of these systems, you will eventually run into a blade that is extremely dull or chipped, or some edge thickening issues, where you will need something else to deal with it.
