I bought a knife for my father, and my brother and made sheaths for both. My brothers sheath - this one in fact:
has been used it for hunting ever since. The knife has seen three deer in the year I he has owned it and I am VERY proud that this is his go to setup.
Anyway - it has also seen its share of briars and the like and has a few scratches in the leather. Nothing that has done serious damage - but it has taken off the dye and he wants to touch it up.
I used Fiebrings Light Brown and used a top coat of Montana Pitch Blend.
Can any of you old hands give me some recommendations about touching this up without making it look terrible? I have some idea's - but I wanted to get advise from those who have much more experience than me.
Thanks,
TF
