Greetings you all :)

I'm about to order a Mini Trapper Chessnutt in CV.
This will be my very first blade in CV
I was dubbing between another Peanut or a Stockman in CV.
I already have a Peanut(SS), and a Stockman has a bit more blades than I need after all.
A regular Trapper is too big for my liking, so Mini Trapper it will probably be ;)
So, is this a good choice do you think?
Thanks for reading

Good choice. I'm carrying a large trapper and it sits in my pocket better than my smaller stockman.

Should I go through the process of bying a´knife right now that very knife it would be. But as I have 3 new knifes this year, Medium stockman, trapper and sodbuster jr, Im kind of pleased right now. I has a little itch for this trapper or a small but sturdy jackknife in cv or 1095 though. May scratch that itch during the spring?

I think you have it narrowed down well.
To tell you the truth I would consider the swayback in cv and the mini-trapper and flip a coin. :D.

Great choice. I received my CA7012 about 3 weeks ago and it is a really great knife. If you want to rush the patina a little then just cut up some oranges and enjoy.

Don't get a Chessnutt bone. You want be able to take your eyes off of it after you pull it from the box! Yes; that is an excellant choice!

Look at a Texas Jack in CV, in Amber or Chestnut

It is the same size as the Mini Trapper but it has a pen blade, which I find more useful than the long spey blade

I'll have to give that one a look too neeman. I like the shape of trappers and the pen blade is a plus.

I just placed the order at New Graham.
Mini Trapper CV Chessnutt bone it's gonna be
Now I can't wait :o
I'll keep you posted.
