So, got my eyes on these 2 knife brands. but they are so rare or not in stock in eu, that i would have to buy from usa. This is where it becomes sticky, for a Adwenture sworn Explorer in 3v, id have to pay (converting from eur to dollars) $426.45 is this price worth it? the same roughly goes for Lt wright knives. Is it worth it? or should i just stick with other eu brands ( i hate that eu brands dont have life time warranty) tell me your opinions and angles of it being worth it or not! Thanks!

I'm in France and I have 3 Adventure Sworn knives in 3V (Explorer, Huntsman and Mountaineer)...but unfortunately nobody can't answer this question of "is it worth it" for you.
Yes import taxes are nasty in Europe but ultimately it depends if you can afford or not to buy these knives.
At least, from my 3 specimens, I can confirm the very high quality of the products from this custom maker.

LT Wright knives are really good, and very well made. However, a $400+ price tag makes them far too expensive for what they are.
Adventure Sworn knives are well made, but not worth the hype. I've had a classic model for years. It will take a good edge, but the very low "scandi" grind doesn't work well with the thick blade stock. There are plenty of better options that are far less expensive and made closer to home.....For $400 you could have a nice knife made to your specs. Or, you could get a couple Mora knives and spend the rest on a nice vacation in the woods.....

What are the other options closer to home if u could tell me:)

Speaking for myself, I would definitely be willing to spend that $400+ for the LT Wright knives I have, if I were European. I’ve bought $500+ customs I like less than my $200 LTWK Boattail. I would probably be willing to spend up to $600 to replace my Boattail if I had to, despite that being three times its original price.

It all depends on what you are wanting. Preferences for design / materials / aesthetics are all very personal and subjective. If there’s a specific knife you just cannot live without, I’d say go for it.

Lots of makers in Europe.....in Germany, in Italy, in Spain, in Finland, in Norway, in Sweden etc......even in Ukraine.....
Check out the Lamnia website, they have page after page of knives.....
There are a bunch of custom makers that make really good puukko style blades that are great for outdoor activities.
Just a couple-

Yeah I'm looking for like a smaller knife, I already have an bark river bravo 1.5 for batoning and such. Wanted a more of a carver, smaller blade, that could still baton a little bit here and there! For how much do these go for?

For this price, just go custom. That way you get exactly what you want. Aren’t many reasons to spend this much on a production fixed blade.

I agree, not with that much to bring into the EU, definitely check out the European makers, those puukkos look right up your alley for a smaller knife.

I've owned a bunch of AS knives-maybe 2 dozen or more over the years. They are nice knives and well made.

With that said, I would never pay that much for one. I find their exaggerated coke bottle shapes fatiguing in hand and uncomfortable. For me, they just don't work. The few LT Wright knives that I have owned seemed like a much better value. I would suggest, as others said, go custom!

Good luck on your search!
