AEB-L, being a very tough steel, sounds like a good fit for these knives, doesn’t it?

For those of us that have not heard about this steel, maybe you could give us a description/comparison to its competitors, to help with the answer.

Definitely interested in something in AEBL (Military or PM2 would be my hope). From what I read, it's quite the steel.

One of the toughest stainless steels: https://knifesteelnerds.com/2019/03/04/all-about-aeb-l/

In comparison to other stainless steels, like S35VN, S110V, M390, .... it can support a thinner edge geometry and thus better cutting performance for many tasks.

I love aeb-l and nitro v. I think both of them would be perfect in the PM2 or the manix, I guess the military would be fine too I just dont really carry for liner locks.

From what I’ve read AEBL has been called a stainless 52100 and it is what razor blades are made from. I currently have enough 52100 and don’t mind the non-stainless attributes to want something else with similar qualities but I’m all for bringing out a larger variety of steel in the flagship models.

I don't know why there are hardly ever folders in AEB-L. I suspect because the edge retention isn't as "super" as the S90Vs of the world. I would love to see some folders in it, and I'd be all over a Manix 2, PM 2, or anything else.
