Hi folks...just a quick question.

Looking for a production knife or maker who can craft AEB-L blade for bushcraft tasks...want 60+ rockwell, thin blade, steep angle

Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

there are so many here that make blades in aeb-l

Horsewright Horsewright makes some of the nicest fixed blades in aeb-l but there are many many others - check out the selling sub-forums

Where can I see your designs?

Here you go, here are both of their direct links.

Thank you for the shoutout! I don't have any dedicated bushcraft designs but I do make A LOT of knives in AEB-L. Run em about 62-63RC.

A couple that recently sold:

OP: Nathan "The Machinist" @ CPK (Carothers Performance Knifes) is currently making his DEK1 in 3V but it is also available in AEB-L. It seems to fit the bill for what you are looking for in a "bushcraft" knife. I bought one in 3V off of the Exchange and it is very nice. It comes w/a kydex sheath.

Here are the specs for the knife:

Delta 3V, 60-61 HRC, .160″ thick at ricasso (a little over 5/32″)*
Total length 9.125
Blade length 4.5
Weight 6.2 oz
Edge angle 20 DPS
Grippy 3D machined scales in micarta or G10
Titanium fasteners
Hidden lanyard

* Also available in AEB-L stainless steel

I'm sure that you can modify the blade angle and make any other mods you'd like. If you're interested, you can contact Nathan directly on BF the CPK subforum in the Hosted Knifemaker's Forum here.

PS: A DEK-1 in AEB-L just sold on the Exchange this morning. See: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/carothers-dek-1.1857695/
