Where can i get AEB-L in sizes suitable for kitchen knives?

I've gotten some pieces from Alpha Knife Supply. Asked for them cut lengths that
were long enough but less likely to get bent in transit.

Does Chuck have any sizes other than what is listed on his website? I have heard that ordering the comparable 13c26 from Admiral is risking because it can show up bent like a banana, so I want to be careful.

If they have a sheet that they haven't sheared they will shear custom sizes when they shear it. Give em a call. Chuck and Jessica are good people and will help you any way they can.

That they are. They have been one of my go-to sources for stag and wood for a few years. i am now leaning twoard CRS-XHP, whihc Chuck also has mot of the time. Scott Devanna will sell me a sheet, but I want to play with a little bit before I drop that kind of scratch!!!!! $558 for a 12 x 72 sheet of hot rolled .103 stuff and well over $700 for the .135 stock.

AKS is all out of larger sized AEB-L and the maker isn't making it in the thickness knife makers need any longer. At this point, I'm considering AEB-L a goner.

We have 1,100 pounds of AEB-L on its way to us.

Watch the website or sign up for the e-mail list to be notified when it arrives.
