This fairly new product (Aegis Daily Cleaner Solution) is a great rust prevention solution and also food safe. Unlike many other rust prevention solutions in the market, you may apply this solution to your blade without having to worry about consuming chemicals that are not safe (cutting fruit/vegitable/cheese/ food in general). You can get this through BladeHQ, the set comes with the solution bottle and a green microfiber rag. Aegis also carry more potent version of their rust prevention solution for those who are looking to fix blades thats rusted alot.

I have been enjoying this product alot. The rest of other rust prevention solutions that I used in the past are collecting dust due to this product. If anyone is looking for rust prevention solution that also is food safe, I highly recommend this spray!

They closed the doors about a year ago and many have missed it. The kniKnuts podcast got a few details and even tried to get it going again. https://knifenuts.net/podcast/?offset=1505578640807

Now Skeleton, Moen, Hill and Begg are actually bringing it back.

Regrann from @skeltonbladeworks - As of today, Aegis Solutions Knifecare EDCi is back in business and supply will resume soon. As many in the community know, James Rose built quite a following in our knife community with a product that was nothing short of amazing. A simple spray on solution that completely prevented rust and corrosion, yet left no film, haze or stickiness on the steel and was completely odorless. With no film left behind, EDCi doesn’t attract dirt/dust/lint and reduces fingerprints as well. I’ve extolled the virtues of EDCi for nearly 5 years, as have many of you. When James informed me last year that he was closing the doors for Aegis and stopping production of EDCi, we began to talk about me purchasing the company from him and re-releasing it. Now, several months later here we are. I have teamed up with my friends Todd Begg, Jerry Moen and John Hill (owner of Lile Knives) to bring EDCi back on the market and the deal closed just hours ago. I’m honored to launch this business with such an amazing group of friends, and am excited for the future of the brand. Within weeks we will have a huge batch bottled, labeled and ready to ship. The website will go back online and ready to take orders once everything is here in-house. We are all very excited to be able to bring back EDCi, and honestly we’re excited for ourselves too because we all ran out of the last of our bottles a while back . - #regrann

Does anyone know what this stuff is made of that makes it food safe? Jim said in the comments that he wants to have it tested again to be sure it's food safe cause he's picky about that. Wondering if it's mineral oil or coconut or something else as a base.

Who else is missing this stuff?

Btw the op was from 2016. I rose the dead but it wasn't dead for that long.
