AFCK standoff size.

Hi everyone,

I'm pulling my AFCK out of the drawer and going to EDC it again. It's a D2 Axis model with the black plastic spacer. Just for fun, I'd like to improve the looks a bit, and replace the spacer with standoffs. Does anybody know what size I need? 140, 156, 194...?

As an aside, does anybody make custom scales for these? And are they any tips/tricks I should know about disassembling for cleaning?

The benchmade site lists blade thickness of that model to be .125 inches. So just a shade over that and you should be golden. As for scales, with that being a discontinued model the maker would more than likely need the knife to custom fit. Typical responses to sources of scales would be the users Keyman and DeathofAllThings. They both frequent the Custom Benchmade thread. Good luck.
