I just noticed that my mini-AFCK has a different blade grind than the AFCK's that I have seen pictured in magazines or on the Internet.
I noticed that the flat part on the side of the blade is larger, giving presumably a stronger blade, as less of the blade is ground away. In other words, the grind line on my knife is lower, exactly bisecting the blade lenghtwise, where on the photos it is higher up near the blade spine, giving the impression of a thinner blade with a skinning "belly".
Is my knife a newer version than the ones pictured? Am I missing something?
Please take the time to compare your AFCK's to the photos posted everywhere on the web and see if you can spot a difference.
