A buddy of mine is celebrating (well, maybe not "celebrating" exactly) his 50th birthday. He is by no means a knifenut, but has an appreciation for well built tools, cars, anything mechanical. I decided to get him a knife worthy of the occasion - classy, yet useful.

I got him this:

I have to give credit where credit is due, once again, to Delta-Z. This is the second Delta-Z knife I've had, and the quality is fantastic. Full steel liners, very sharp 440 blades, strong ball detent, rock solid lockup, exotic handle materials. Guys talk about CRKT "bang for the buck" - I can tell you this is easily twice the knife than it's $25 price would have you believe! (not knocking CRKT, I have 7 of them)

If you are looking for a sweet "Sunday knife", or a classy gift, or something other than black handles, check out the closeouts page at http://www.DeltaZ-Knives.com . There are some really nice knives in the $30 range.

Oh, and since the size of this knife is exactly what I like (all my EDC's have 2.5 - 3" blades), I ordered two and told my wife to put one away for a "rainy day" :D

Wow that is nice...and who can go wrong for that kind of money...

I think its pretty cool when we can appreciate knives whatever their monetary value- good catch and nice gift for your buddy-
Martin
