I'm looking for a reliable folding knife that can take a lot of abuse and has a solid lock-up. My price range would be around 50-60 bucks but if the knife was worth it then I might go a little higher. I would also like for the blade to have a black coating if possible. Also, the Boker Plus Direkt caught my eye and I was wondering if anyone knew how it performed and if could fit the role of a hard use knife.

Sounds like you want a HK Conspiracy! Under $70, titanium framelock, 9Cr18MoV blade, stout blade... need I go on?

I loves mine.

Cold Steel tri-ad lock knives [Voyager, Recon, AK, Code-4, etc.] are the best knives in the "affordable hard use" category. They are an excellent value for the price, and better, tougher knives [BM 275/ZT 300] cost almost twice the price.
