I'm somewhat new to collecting knives, but have assembled a moderate collection of production blades and a couple customs. I've drooled over Damascus blades for a while, but find most of them fairly high priced. I realize the subject of this post may be an oxymoron, but was wondering if any of you had recommendations for what I'm looking for.

Affordable would mean $300 or below. High quality......well let's see what you folks come up with. I am specifically looking for recommendations on folders, preferrably something that's in the 3-3.5" range.

Thanks for your input!

You haven't seen value in damascus until you've explored our lockback and fixed bladed damascus with natural material scales, like stablized maple burl, ox horn, stag, etc.

I don't want to seem forward or anything but, if your interested in a complete custom made fodler I can fix you up with a damascus folder in that price range. I am making liner locks right now and I have some nice raindrop damascus.

Paul Vandine has handled one of my folders you can check with him for reference.
