Affordable Lanny's Clip and Coffin Jack?

I've been looking at various patterns a lot lately, and these are two of my favorites (along with Texas Jack and Swayback Jack). I know Case has versions of these with their Tony Bose collaborations, but they're way out of my price range. Anyone make these in affordable versions (under $100)?

Not sure about the Lanny's clip and I have mostly only seen them made by custom makers. I have searched for a Coffin Jack myself for a long time. I'm pretty sure I've seen one made by Rough Rider or another company similar but none that were made to my liking. I ended up going the route of building one myself from a pattern because I couldn't find one (my first slipjoint build, it's half finished at best)but have gotten stuck with so many other projects and family messes that I am really itching to get that project going again. I hope someone can come up with something.........

I'm not sure about a coffin jack, but I don't think you will find a Lanny's Clip for under $250 anywhere as the only non-custom version is the Bose/Case collaboration.

For a somewhat affordable, getting higher all the time, Coffin Jack look for a 1980's Winchester. I believe they were made in 1987 and maybe other years. W15 2921. I only know this data because I have one. This series of Winchesters have a pretty decent reputation.

Just did a quick internet search and found a number of them for sale.

As for the LC the only production I am aware of is the Case/Bose Collaboration.

Whilst on the GEC subject, their Eureka Jack might be regarded as similar to a Coffin Jack but under 90 USD.

Check out Utica / Kutmaster's coffin jack, I think $50 OR LESS.

By today's definitions I would say to call the Utica/Kutmaster a Coffin Jack is a bit of a stretch. It is a Trapper dressed in a Coffin Jack frame. Just say'in.

When you find them, sign me up for one of each.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I'll keep looking (and maybe one day I'll be able to afford those Case/Tony Boses or even a custom Lanny's clip and Coffin Jack...).

I need to find a Coffin Jack myself, good question. The onlt thing keeping me from a Coffin Jack is the Spear main; I love spears aesthetically, but I don't care for them fo daily carry. I would rather have a sheepsfoot IMO

Maybe a coping/sheep secondary would be acceptable as a consilation, however :D

There's also a pearl version of the Winchester (mine is spoken for, very very nice knife):

Fausto

I have been looking for a sub $100 coffin jack for a long time as well! Come on knife companies! There are at least a dozen buyers right here waiting...

A single blade clip of GEC's #74 pattern would come close to a Lanny's Clip...

Yeah, I think this would be close. Maybe get a regular #74 and have the wharncliffe removed or made into another knife (additional cost though...). Here's a #74 at the bottom so you can get an idea on how it would look.

Ive also been on the same hunt for a few years now. Hopefully GEC will produce one in the next year or two.

The Case/Bose coffin jack is one hell of a knife if you have that kind of coin to spend on it though. I keep thinking about selling 4 or 5 of my GEC knives to try and fund one.
