Such a thing ? Something to work on knives with.
Suggestions that wont break the bank. Looking for screw driver style?

If we cant get the price down for screw driver style, what are some quality bits you recommend ?

"Wiha 36291 Screwdriver Set, Torx, 6 Piece" is what I use. $31 on that "Jungle" site.

Wiha is a good value. Generally quite solid performance vs. price.

I get all Wiha bits. But I don't get the single-piece drivers like the above, I get a separate driver handle by Felo or Wiha. I go thru bits pretty often working on firearms/knives/other stuff. It's cheaper to replace bits--especially the common sizes you use a lot like T6--than to replace a whole screwdriver.

Three Rivers Manufacturing sells a bit set with 2 T6, 1 T8, and 1 T10, that I find very useful. There is also a mini Boker set with T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, T10 and T15 with the bits stored in the handle that is also good. Both use WIHA bits.

You can buy PB Swiss driver bits one at a time for 3 dollars and change each. If you only need 2 or 3 sizes and you know what they are, that can be an inexpensive way to go for excellent quality Torx bits. I personally have both a Wera Torx screwdriver kit (7 piece) and an 8 piece WIHA set - around $30 to $40 a set. WIHA, Wera or PB Swiss is the only good options in my opinion. There are most likely some other good options but good luck trying to find them without buying a lot of junk in the process.

I have purchased a bunch of screw driver set's from amazon aliexpress and ebay and they are all made in China and I haven't had a bit fail yet, that being said Wiha is excellent as well.

I have also broken loose some very tight screw including screws on Spyderco's that were held in place with red locktite and I thought the head was going to break off or strip and I didn't have a problem with the bit being damaged not in a slight bit.

I'd rather spend 15 bucks on the one I got from amazon and get more bits for other purpose's plus I know the ones from China work well and last,I'm also a very fussy person about tools and by that I mean I will by brand name tools that are quality and cost a bit more and I will try cheaper stuff as well and trust me I will also bitch like crazy if the tool is crap.

From what I can tell it seems like most of the bit come from the same factory in China as well some bits are chrome or nickel plated and others are just a dull color.
The ones below are 12.99 on amazon and I have the same set and no mine are holding up just fine.

In my experience, many of the cheap Chinese bits are not properly hardened and do strip out. But more importantly, these bits are often not sized properly or the ends don't fit the screws all the way to the bottom, with the result that the screws get stripped out even though the screwdriver or bit remains intact. In many ways, stripping out the screws is worse because while you can replace faulty bits or drivers, but once a screw is stripped it can be very difficult to remove and burdensome to try to match the length and thread to replace if you do get it out.
But if cheap Chinese bits are working for you (and some are really pretty good) then go with it. I don't like to waste money either. Which is why I gravitate towards better tools because they always seem to cost me less in the long run.

I like the driver/bit generally, but there are definitely times where a slimmer single piece will fit and the driver/bit style is too fat.

I can't do links to shops I think. But I have a craftright 17 piece precision screwdriver kit I really like. That has interchangeable heads a little torch and a set of tweezers for not much money.

I think the biggest problem these days trying to find quality tools is that one year a company will make a great tool set with super reviews and the next year it is made in a different country under the same label with questionable quality and gets poor reviews. Same company. WIHA is getting a rep for this type of behavior as are some other companies. It becomes a "bait and switch" game which I don't like at all. Makes buying good tools a crap shoot in many instances.

Thanks to all you guys.
My bits are starting to wear and always wanted a screwdriver style. Makes since to stick with my bits ($$). Got the ones I have from box store and seem to wear to fast.

Wiha is getting the rep because Amazon is selling a knock off under the Wiha name. Their stuff is made in Germany.

Yeah that's not a manufacturer problem, that's a "Amazon Marketplace" problem.

Wiha makes very few tools in Germany anymore. Read their website. They only claim that their tools are “designed in Germany”, but manufactured in several countries.

This. I use a Wiha driver with Felo bits. The Felo bits are less than $2 a pop on the website that sells German tooling (not sure if it is OK to name that site, but please note that despite the name the business does not reside in Kansas City or KC as far as I can tell).

Oops. Resides in Olathe, KS. My boo boo.

How about Ben Peterson’s designed Kaffs Bit driver. Aluminum construction, comes with wiha T6. T8, and flat head. Uses magnets and gastketnto mount bits to shell of driver. Best of all about 35 bucks. This one is sweet.
Another is the boker wiha stubby driver. Costs about 30 on amazon.
