If you like the old English/Sheffield patterns and long for something a little special yet affordable, this is for you
Last remaining independent cutler in Sheffield.
Old world value and quality.
Not overpriced.
Carbon steel blades.
Look under pocketknives, then Trevor Ablett.
Trust me...you will NOT be sorry.

Interesting knives there. I like seeing the difference in those barlows and what we immediately think of as a barlow. Some of those peach pruners are alluring.

I wonder ow much hassle is it to order from there to the U.S. side of the pond?

I have received many parcels from Great Britain.
Royal mail is most probably the fastest service in the world.

Great link, I just happen to love the old English/Sheffield patterns...Thanks for sharing this...Great choice Waynorth it's either that one or one of the Peach Pruners and since I happen to grow peaches I might have to go with one of those for tradition sake..

That's the one for you!! "Where would we be without tradition?" (Fiddler on the Roof)

Thosse a beautiful pieces.
I'd be more than happy to support a dwindling Sheffield industry.
Can't have history disappear on us that easily, now can we??!!!
