Affordable Traditional and functional Bowie Recommendations?

I have owned Puma's Original Bowie and loved it I also own a Buck 119. I recently gave away my Puma as a present to a friend of mine and may just pick up another. I was wondering if any of you may know of any other knife companies that make a functional bowie style knife at a decent price range ($200 or less). USA made or European is preferred. I also prefer stag or wood handles. I like the smaller size of the 119 and Puma though I don't love the handle of the 119. I'm not looking for a decorative knife or huge chopper but something usable. Picky me. The only thing I have found so far is Silver Stag and Anza. Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can still get a stag Blackjack model 1-7 in wonderful A2 tool steel for around $200, with a 7" blade.
Here is mine in green canvas micarta.

How long a blade are you looking for?

Definitely throwing in for blackjack. Derrick/knivesshipfree is clearing out their stock. I got a great model 13 for under 150 and there are wood and stag variants too I believe, if not there, then scattered around the Internet. These are great knives!

Mine is micarta but you get the idea--

Oh wow! Those look amazing! Thanks guys! I've heard of Blackjack but never even thought of them as an option. Those look awesome. May need to pick one up!

The USMC Ka-Bar's are hard to beat for a good user, but they have the stacked leather handles.(still worth considering)
I use mine for fire place wood prep.

Forgot about KaBar too! Never seen the other two knives but they look NICE. Top one has a very old school traditional look. Thanks fellas.

Yup,Ka-Bars are pretty cheap so you can get a nice traditional folder with the left over cash.

Tracks, the Blackjacks come with the best leather sheath in the industry as well. Just a great value all-'round.

In addition to the Blackjacks, which are quality made by Bark River, check out the Bark River Rogue Bowie, which is based on an original Bowie from the late 1800's without the handguard. The Rogues are absolutely beautiful, but may be a bit over your price limit.

Cold Steel Trailmaster in Carbon V steel is hard to beat, the new model in O1 has been available for a few weeks.

If you like the Buck 119, they are available with Cocoba wood handles. Just google Buck 119 wood handle. Bucks have a pretty big aftermarket in customizations too. Again, google will lead you to 119s with stag handles.

Buck makes several other models from smaller to bigger. Same thing applies.

+1 for the Blackjack 1-7. Stacked leather handle is one of the most traditional and popular. The Model 14 looks more bowie-sk to my eyes.

Thank you guys for all the really great input! The sheath is another thing to think about and the Blackjacks sure look great. Lots of knife for the money with all of these mentioned above!
