This is my knife for an Afganistan project. Hope the pictures say enough.
Specs : Black Linen Micarta/Loveless bolts - 5/32" 0-1 - 6" blade - 11.5" overall. This is headed to a US soldier. Spercial Forces Alpha in Afganistan. Hope it serves him well.

Civilian version - Going to a new USA (Bladeforums) customer.

Specs: OD Canvas Micarta/Loveless bolts - 5/32" 0-1 - 5" blade - 10.25" overall

that looks great! how much would a 6" one go for?

what to add? i'd like a choil right where the ricasso is on those blades.

Thanks for doing so! Those are two of the nicest looking knives I've seen in awhile. That soldier in Afghanistan deserves a knife so nice and I'm sure he appreciates it. Excellent work!
 
What does he plan to do with it? He will probably be issued an M9 bayonet.

Will he ever need to saw or use serrations?

The large one was donated to a project that the shoptalk guys started up. You can even donate knives that you guys have to :D There going to a Special Forces unit over there. They are allowed to carry whatever gear that they prefer. So far we have gotten good feedback from the Soldiers. More a moral booster than anything for me personally. You can than out own Roger Linger for getting the ball rolling on such a good cause.
