Why is afrankarts knucks so much money even though they are simple and sometimes not made from high end materials? Are they worth it? They look really nice but the prices are way too high...

Why are designer purses expensive when you can get something more functional for less that lasts your lifetime and more?

So they're pretty much designer knucks? & idk if that's true, there is very high quality designer clothing out there... moncler is a good example, they sell nice jackets with high end materials which actually justifies their prices. I can see if he is using maybe timascus or something, that would justify maybe 700$ but 800$ for a bronze or titanium/aluminum knuck is insane.

I am no expert in "martial arts" but I would see many better options for self defense than knucks. I believe they are often illegal even in states?

For me the knucks are more like fidget spinners, status pieces for autists.

Only in certain states and I'm pretty sure that just applies to full knuckles w points on them rather than the 2 or 1 finger blunt ones & I'll have to agree with you on that, they probably won't ever be used and if so wouldn't go so well as they think in a self defense situation. Ide rather carry a knife or gun for sure.

Never understood the obsession with knucks, Afrankart or otherwise. I don't get the pricing either.

I didn't think he made them anymore. He has been copied down to his name and make be Chinese knockoffs pretty bad.

It's like Zach Wood prys or Peter Atwood tools, they are made in low quantities and usually well finish out of quality materials. That doesn't mean I think they're worth the money, but to someone they obviously are. Why do people buy $600+ knives? Because they like them.

As in most cases, demand is what actually drives prices. If nobody wants what you've got, it doesn't matter how high or low your prices are.

Pretty much. Cool factor, supply and demand. If knucks are your thing then having an AFK in the collection is a must.

I think they're neat and really, especially with the Steel Flame colabs, the amount of detail in such a small object, it really is a work of art.

Spinners don't do much for me, but I've seen some Steel Flame spinners that were $3k+. If you can get past the fact they're a spinner it really is a work of art

I've got one of these titanium knucks.
