Hi folks,
Shown here is a Bowie made to the specifics of a client in a low layer (12) Turkish Twist pattern. The interfame handle is damascus with filed nickel silver liners. The wooden scales are high-grade African Blackwood which turned out to be cocoa-brown when dressed out. I use a lot of this wood but have only seen the brown stuff a few times. The sheath is in the Paul Long tradition with a tooled leather inlay. It was going to be dyed black but when the handle turned out brown.......
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Cheers,
