Just got a cheaper-than-dirt email with African Springbok Antelope Skin's for $27.97. Would this stuff be any good for anything? I know 18"x28" isn't very big but the price seems cheap enough.
Thought I would pass it along. :D

Skins are real nice to use in a table display at a show, for one thing....

You could make a fur coat for yourself.
HaHa! I would hate to think how many it would take to make a fur coat for me! I am a big, big boy. :) Maybe a thong? :barf:
That is a pretty good idea for display at shows. You saying that also makes me think one may be nice for photos of knives.

Well, IG, as thick-necked as I am it'd not make a scarf, either. Maybe a furry little fig leaf+???? Remember Nugent and those loincloths? Ah, just picture 300 pounds of jelly-belly Mikey in one..... :barf:

I just went blind!!!!  Hey!!! A Water Buffalo's skin may do the trick?????
MAYBE????

Welllll, a baby water buffalo maybe.... Nahhh, better get the full adult! :D

If You make the loin cloth to match the table display You could be the "talk of the show"

Bruce, I would have to go to the show to see that   I would even take a picture, but I would need a wide angle lens. :D

For that price, just make sure they're well tanned, and, most importantly, legit. See about getting a skin or two for inspection before you dive in.

Is it a US seller? Credit card fraud is pretty hard to prosecute outside the US. Just being suspicious.

It's cheaper than dirt. They sell army surplus and stuff. I have ordered stuff from them before. I got a cool german flectar camo field jacket I wear all the time that I bought from them for $27 last year. Now quality of the tanning on the skins I wouldn't be sure about till I saw one, but I am sure you would get the prduct if you ordered it. I can't order squat right now, I have to spend all our money for Christmas stuff. As a matter of fact, my wife is sitting here stomping her feet waiting for us to go shopping while I type. :(

Put the knives on the skins, and go to the show nekkid! Then you are sure to attract some attention....in my case a load of laughter!
