I'm in the process of giving up drag racing due to the cost making it no longer fun.
Lately I have been taking a interest in Blades as a new hobby. It started with buying a SOG machete for work about three months ago. After destroying it fairly quick I bought a couple of Ontarios that I modded for fun.
Anyway this led to a new Leek pocket knife so on and so on.

Well as of today I own or have paid for and have in route
Ontario RAT-5 two of there Machetes
Condor Golok 14in Machete
Bark River Little creek
Kershaw Leek -----best 50 bucks I've spent in a while used everyday
camillus carnivore-- Cheap POS I know but perfect tool for work for me.
Spyderco Manix2
ZT Hinderer 560

I'm not sure exactly whats next but I am fascinated with Machetes and I'd really like a ZT 350. Thanks for talking me into more knives guys

Cool man. I wanted a new folder a while back and wanted an assisted folder. I have nine assisted KAI knives now.

Look at the Blur if you like the Leek.

Welcome to the knife world, it is a great world to be in. Ya 350 is a good knife, I like the composite blade version that recently came out with the ZDP-189 cutting edge. The 0301 is the big brother to the 0350 and is my favorite edc, things a brute. How is the Ontario machete holding up? I need something I can beat on and since my current machete is made of tin that cost me $5 I think it is time to upgrade.

I'm a solid zt fan. The 350 is one of my favorite knives and can be had for less than $100 if you find a blem. My first quality knife purchase was a 300, and it stayed that way until it started to rip the seams on my back pockets. Still pull it out to play in the backyard on the regular, though.

It is a beast (22in version) I cut about 4in at the front knocked off the plastic grips and cut the handle in for 3 extra inches and wrapped camo para cord strider style. I have cleared out tons of stuff including 2-3in branches and saplings with no blade chipping at all. It did roll a tiny bit when I hit a eastern red cedar branch but I ground in a convex edge and perfect ever since.

It's pretty rough looking in the picture I've cleaned it up some since this picture. I know I'm a hack but it's fun to pass the time messing around with them. Next I'm going to try a Martendale golok style maybe with the saw back 18in version next. I love the army navy store
