I saw this in yesterday's USA Today:

This an inspiring story.

A teen age Hungarian Jew is liberated from the Mauthausen concentration camp by the US Army. He later immigrates to the US, and enlists. He is wounded in Korea, and taken prisoner. He then uses the survival skills he learned in the Nazi concentration camp to help his fellow POW's survive.

A well deserved Medal of Honor, IMNSHO.

It's a shame that a man who is trying to serve his country has to face discrimination.

It's more of a shame that it took so long to give this man his due!

All's well that ends well.

Thanks for posting this!

They had this story on NPR yesterday, and a brief interview with the guy. Amazing stuff.
