After hearing that my new Benchmade 755 was too thick, I picked up a beautiful Paul!

So I posted about my new 755 about a week ago and I heard about how it was too thick (or thicker than it needed to be) by a member or two. I TOTALLY hear what they were saying as I used my thin pocket knife this week and it's doing a great job with its razor sharp blades. It's not going to replace the 755 but I will readily admit that thin rocks too! :)

I was at the shop today and I noticed the Benchmade Paul design that I remembered from years ago with Gerber. The knife was gorgeous and THIN and I bought it today to satisfy my new thin knife cravings. THANKS BLADE FORUM! :D

That is a nice knife, love the blade shape. What model is that? Any chance of a shot of the spine next to something else for comparison?

The Benchmade/Lone Wolf 'Paul' series are nice... My local BM pusher had a great selection. I 'thought' about them too long - and they couldn't get more, for some reason. Before BM acquired LW, they had some neat 'Limited Editions'. But the 755 is my idea of an EDC. I like it so much, my wife knew I wanted a 'backup', so she, er, Santa, brought me a 755BK Sunday AM... and a Boker 'equivalent', a new offering from them designed by Neil Blackwood, the 'Pipsqueak', too! I must've been good this year...

Three beautiful knives there! WOW! That design is a TANK to me and I just can't get enough of it. Thanks for sharing! :)

The Paul is a Paul Axial A4. The blade is 154CM.

Here's a photo of the Paul as it compares to a couple of other knives.

The knife on the left is the 755 and the blade is about 3/16" thick.

The Paul is in the middle and the blade is 1/8" thick.

The knife on the right is my Al Crenshaw Redbone Whittler. Traditional thin folder blade.

The Paul knives are nice, although I haven't checked them out since BM purchased them. Here is a picture of my Paul Protector alongside my BM 710

Thanks Rhino & 1shot. I really do like that one. I'm going to have to pick up one soon. It's all your fault... ;)

Anything I can do to promote the madness...;)

Paul Presto is the only knife I have ever returned and then re-bought.

I re-bought a Ritter RSK Mk4 a few years ago. It is a great knife.
Probably the coolest locking system on any knife made.
