Seems like there are a lot of flashlight and gun nuts around too, I'm one of 'em! For me, it's mtn. bike stuff, camping gear and DVD's. So what floats your boat?

Stuff for my PDA -- a Visor Platinum -- seems to be my next priority these days after the usual suspects (knives, flashlights).

I've recently become a fan of tea. Just like people can't understand how a knife can cost so much, you'd be surprised how much a little tin of dried leaves can cost, not to mention the the right pot. I'm currently branching out from Japanese and Chinese green teas to Oolongs and Assam.

Fishing reels (preferably ABU Ambassadeur), LED-lights, Zippo lighters, Electronic equipment, CD-s, ballpoint pens, high tech clothes and outdoor equipment.

Firearms, watches, single malt scotches, computer equipment & software. So many things... so little money.

Well, the wife, of course. But also CDs, lots of CDs. I love good blues and old-school country too, like Willie and Hank Sr.

lately, my impending wedding

otherwise, after lights (which probably comes before knives since they never need batteries), knives, multitools, etc. comes books, computer equipment, and more books...

Well, I guess I left my wife out of the first post. But isn't that one a GIVEN??!! How come her money is her money, but my money is OUR money?! Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, tea is like wine or beer or cigars or any other consumeable-as-hobby. First you collect it, then you drink it, then you make silly pronouncements (e.g., "the use of 6-row barley does not balance the szaz hops", "full-bodied yet a tad aggressive in the glass") and go collect some more.
