I finally just ordered a Sage 2 and I am pumped! That's it. Just wanted to express my excitement!

Nice!!! Congrats!!! ...its the one Sage I have. I like them all equally I think, but the 2 is the one I pulled the trigger on.  :D

Congrats! I love it for its simplicity. The thing I love about frame locks is the concept of adding a feature, in this case a lock, without adding anything to the knife (except a detent ball) but rather by taking things away. Amazing from a design standpoint really. With no over travel stop or steel insert the Sage2 is beautifully simple. They make two cuts and add a detent ball and there is your lock bar. The standoffs add just enough class without being flashy. It is a simple, utilitarian and elegant all in a very good EDC size. I have the 2,3 and 4 and they are all different. The 2 gets used the most but I like and carry all three.

Congrats! That's a very nice knife. I plan on ordering the Sage 1 soon just because I like the carbon fiber look.

Thanks for spreading the positivity around everyone! Always nice to have excitement validated!

Bearfacedkiller, that is exactly what drew me to it. I love my Slysz Bowie for the same reason. There's real beauty in something that functions well with the minimum number of parts or additional aspects. I think I'm really gonna love this one (especially paired with the Bark River fixed blade that is also coming to be its best friend).

I've got the sage 1,2 and 3 and they are all fantastic knives. The 2 is almost like having a CRK knife but for half the price.

hi i just got a sage 2 also,it is one of the best knifes i have,so well built and smooth, next one is its brother a techno.a lot of good reviews.

IT'S IN MY MAILBOX RIGHT NOW.

I feel like Charlie after he gets the golden ticket.

"Run for it Charlie! Run straight home and don't stop till you get there!"

Congratulations Vermont edge! We indeed did take the plunge together. Thanks for the "push" and enjoy that Sage 2! Fresh from my mailbox:

I love the Sage2, but don't seem to carry it much. It is such a nice knife though! I carry the Sage1, and usually grab a Caly 3 or Caly 3.5 instead of the Sage. Love the titanium though!

Very nice Sage. They feel good in the hand and are not too large for daily carry. Great choice.

Great pics VE!!!! I LOVE those grind lines in that gorgeous blade!!! How's the action feel??? Is that silly smile still stuck on your face???
Enjoy it!

Haha, yup. Smile is plastered with no signs of going anywhere.

Lock-up is so solid. On par with my slysz bowie. Action actually started out a little gritty, but having experience with PB washers I didn't worry about it and just kept opening and closing. Has already loosened up into that same silky smooth hydraulic that I love on the bowie. This is definitely going to hold a high place in my collection!
