Those of you that read my original thread and offered up helpful and thoughtful words during my time of suffering :D I want to thank you. I had lost my small Sebenza 21 and being only 3 weeks old and being my first it was not fun, not that it ever would be losing a knife like this. Anyway I just couldn't take it anymore and needed my CRK back, so I ordered up another a couple days ago and it came in today. I'm back baby. Very excited to have it in my hands once again. I had to sell off a Paramilitary2, a Delica 4, and a Sage 3, but I'm ok with it as I've been narrowing my collection down to just nicer, mostly titanium, smaller EDC style pocket knives. So thanks again to those who helped me thru this tragedy.

Here is a pic with her tribute knife made by Spyderco, the Sage 2. Glad to be back and this one is going to be strictly on house duty for a while.

Man dude awesome you got another I felt so bad for you when I read of your lose so happy for ya man I hear ya it isn't a easy knife to replace

Good to see you've bounced back.
Here's the $400.00 question, whatcha gonna do about making sure this one stays with you????

Awesome! Now how awesome would it be if the other turned up!? Some say the only thing better than a CRK is two CRKs! Glad to hear the void has been filled!

I read with empathy of your recent difficulty and felt for you. I'm really happy to see that you've found the best way of moving on. Congrats and Enjoy!!!

I know I said it a bunch of times in the original thread but I really am careful with stuff. I went thru times when I didn't have much so the things that I work hard for now I take such good care of and am usually great at keeping track of. It Was literally the first thing that I've misplaced in years and years. It was just a hell of a way to break the streak. All that said I'm actually considering getting one of the CRK small leather pouches to carry it in. I like the idea of having the knife completely covered when it's in my pocket anyway so I may look into one of those. Im pretty sure I've seen them pop up from time to time on the exchange here and if I can't find one there I'll just order one. I think they're only $25 so it's worth giving it a try. In the meantime I'm just going to be extra careful in making sure it's clipped to my pocket good when I do carry it.

Another thing that I noticed that has me puzzled is how strong the clip is on this knife. When it is pushed completely down in the pocket on the clip it's really hard to get it off without trying. So I must not have had it completely seated that day when I left the house because there is just no way I wouldn't have felt it get pulled out of my pocket if it was all the way down.

It's good to be back though. These really are great knives.

I would be completely surprised if it shows up but I guess you never know. If it did I would probably trade it for another model or sell it to fund something else. The next CRK is going to be a Mnandi so if it did show up it would go towards one of those. I like the plain black ebony model actually which is great because it's one of the less expensive models. Either way the Mnandi will be the next CRK whether I find the other one or not. I've really whittled my collection down now, especially after selling 3 more to help fund this knife. I have the ZT0450, ZT0450cf, Benchmade 698 Foray, Benchmade 550-1 G10 Mini Grip, Spyderco Sage II, and the CRK Small Sebenza. That's what's left after the dust settled and to be honest I'm half tempted to get rid of everything but the Sage and the Sebenza and buy a Knife art CF small Sebenza and a Mnandi and just have 4 really nice knives. Something to think about anyway but CRK just makes such wonderful knives and after handling many over the years it's great to be able to own one.

Sent you a email.

Did you even get a chance to use the Tighe?

I played with it but I didn't use it. Not because I didn't like it but because I rarely "use" my knives anyway. I carry a knife everyday along with a light, but I don't have many cutting tasks throughout the day so even knives I've had for months haven't been used to cut anything. I use my flashlights everyday though. The line of work I'm in just doesn't call for much cutting which is actually fine because I always cringe when I cut anything anyway because I'm afraid to scratch up the knives I have, I know that's pretty silly but it's just how I am. I usually carry a Victorinox Alox Cadet that I bring out to cut if something does need cut.

I really appreciated the gesture though and I'm going to make sure it makes its way to someone who is truly in need and will use it.

I can't imagine losing one of my CRK's. That would be a bad day, indeed. I'm glad you were able to get a replacement so quickly!

Good news. I second your thought about using the pocket slip. That's how I carry mine at work. It just feels more secure, especially in dress pants.

You can always buy a CRK leather belt sheath or a CRK leather pocket sheath; that will keep your new baby safe & sound. Congrats on getting another.
