Thinking of getting a Sequel and may want to change out the aluminum scales.
Are there people who still do this? I've seen some nice ones in the past.

Keyman makes amazing scales for the 707, I got a set from him for mine and couldnt be happier with them. He can work with just about any materials aswell.

DeathofAllThings as well, he made me a set of scales for an 805 that I'm quite happy w/

I will soon make a set for my 707-1201. Got the materials waiting, but I just finished up a set for my griptilian. It can be time consuming if you take on the task with simple hand tools and a dremel like me. I enjoy the satisfaction of tinkering and creating scales for myself. For those who are not up to the task, I would recommend seeking out Keyman, DOAT, Cuscadi, or other. I do prefer G-10, Micarta, or other fiber resins over the aluminum. The aluminum just doesn't wear well at all. A few months in the pocket and it looks like you drug it through gravel.

Hopefully my 707 scales turn as well as my mini-griptilian scales....(Ranger Ritter)
