So my favorite knife currently is the endura 4 wave. I know its not everyones favorite and its grind is way too fat. That said since plain edge versions are only available and its not plausible to have the knife serrated, I think I am going to pick up the rescue wave. I am going to give it a test run but I plan on having someone put a pointy end on it. Either a wharncliff or possibly a reverse tanto or a tapered spear point. I'm not sure I havnt even ordered the blade yet.

My question to you guys is this: who do you have do your custom work? I think the job should be pretty simple. The only people I have seen do custom work on production models are krein and str. But I'm currious as to what the community thinks.

Tom stopped doing regrinds and blade mods to concentrate on other things. STR would be one option for reshaping the blade, but not sure if he does regrinds to thin them out. Brad Southard would be another, but heard he's been ill, so I'm not sure if he's taking any work right now. If you like your Endura Wave, there's also this place that does after market serrations, or you could just haunt the Exchange and eBay until a serrated one shows up.

Deacon, I thought Brad was just moving from Colorado to Arizona? Either way, I'd try to contact him about regrinds. He does amazing work and I'll be sending a saber ground ZDP Endura to regrind at some point.
