So I had ordered a Snake Wood Mnandi from KnifeArt and waited about 4-5 days to receive it. Well sure enough I was not home on the day to sign for it so it goes to the post office. I worked the following 2 days allowing no time to pick it up just to run into a sunday.

So 3 days after it's initial arrival I go to pick up my knife to unbox it and find it's the WRONG knife! Livid describes my mood. They had sent me a Blood Wood Mnandi. I sent an email and right after received a personal phone call from KnifeArt. We agreed that I shipped it back asap with sig confirmation.

I shipped it out right after our phone call and emailed the sig number and within the hour I had a turn around email showing that my package had been shipped. Two days later I now have my Snake Wood Mnandi with reimbursement of shipping and a "free" [don't think time is free] CRK cloth.

Now I don't think there should be mistakes like this when purchasing such high end products that have the names printed in ink on the outside of the box, but I know we are only human. Their Customer Service was top notch and am pleased given the situation.

Cell Phone Pics!
Wish I had a better camera to do this knife justice, it's GORGEOUS!

Beautiful knife.
As frustrating as it was to have happened happen to you it doesn't negate the fact that mistakes happen. It just stinks when it happens to you.

At least you have an interesting story that will always stick with that knife! Plus, if you look on the bright side you got to fondle another mnandi for a bit. Glad everything worked out for you ;)

Congrats! One of my favorite knives of all time. My first was a Snakewood that I later got a ladder Damascus blade replacement for it.

I haven't seen one I didn't think was Art, or close. My son has a walnut, I have a camel thorn.

When I got my snakewood mnandi, I emailed NG and asked to see photos of the knife.

For $375, they'll take the time to unpack and put a more personal touch to the order.

And I think the cloth is free :)

Boy, that's purty all right. Nice score there, despite the requisite patience.

That cloth looks almost beach towel sized! How big is it?

Didn't think of doing that but I am quite pleased with what I ended up with! and yes the cloth is free and I received a 2nd one free for the trouble.

It is 2 cloths stacked on top of each other, but they are quite large none the less. I would say as big or bigger than a wash cloth.

Thank you everyone else for your comments!
Really love this one.
