After one year... The knife...

Since this time, I have finally make and sold this knife...
And I began other one of the same kind...

Here is a pict of the result

Overall length: 12,25 inches, Blade length: 7 inches
Blade: 440c stainless steel, 58-59 Rc with cryo, Hollow grind,
Guard: Brass (soldered) .
Sheath: Vegetal tanned leather and Salmon leather inlay.
Conceived to be carried in various positions and being able
to be withdrawn without removing the belt.

Alain, you have style I'll tell you that! Beautiful work. Well balanced design.

You know if you look at just the blade you might wonder how it would look in a complete package. Doubt it could be pulled off. Then you add the handle and bingo it works. Sort of Japanese (long and thin, straight with the handle), but western in construction. Nice mix of style - a knife unto it's own.

I've always found the soldering to be easy, but clean-up hard! Looks like you nailed. She's beutiful in every way, realy outstanding work, and that sheath, man you've raised the bar with this one.
