This may have been covered (sorry in advance) but I was after honest opinions and possibly images from owners of the CRKT crawford natural...for a production knife i love the look of this knife with the file work etc but the production pics versus pics and opinions from owners can vary a bit.

After posting this I realised they are spring assisted...which is pretty much out of the question unless these are made without the spring assist (which I dont think they are), I love the bulky frame but I also want to be able to bring it back to Australia so I guess I'm after recommendations now for similar pieces with preferable a bone/white scale and black contrast like this one. If its well constructed, good contrast scales and isnt over around 3.5" i'm open to your opinions (including your classy gentlemens knives).

Thanks guys.

Those look like gas station switchblades to me... but I suppose they might not be terrible.
They are indeed spring assisted.

The spring assist can be removed with an allen wrench quite easily. For the money I think it is a great knife. A little heavy and a little too much pretty-ness and the contact point of the frame lock is a little small. But all in all a great deal. I would say half a step behind Kershaw's steel frame locks.

Yeah I've edited to post I'm after something similar, I like the overall design with the file worked spine and such...but if the spring can be removed it wont be an issue (if it works fine without too I likely wont put it back in). I'd want to find a better price then CRKT's listed though.

this video gave it a decent review, and other knife forums I found in a google search also gave them decent reviews but the spring assist definately wont fly (i'm not even into switch blades).
