With all the generosity from all the wonderful people in the various subforums:thumbup:, givin' knives and other great stuff to those in need of a new knife, ('cause it's the only way they're gettin' a new knife this year):(. I wanna give too.

The rules are simple, be honest about bein' in need, be at least 18 years old, live in the USA and be the first one to guess my Confirmation Name, (I don't even remember it so I'll have to ask my Mom).

I'll post the winner on New years day, when ever I get up, the first person to have guessed correctly will have 48 hours after I name the winner to email me and if I don't hear from the winner in 48 hours I'll pick the next person who guessed correctly.

If no one guessed the right name then your post # will be your chance to win and that will be a random drawin' usin' a random number generator, so please only post once.

That person will win a Large Cold Steel Twist Lock with a Carbon V Blade and Zytel type handle the blade is a large clip.

This knife is big and will fit the biggest hands, it's like havin' a foldin' Bowie.

This knife is one of the great Cold Steel knives ever made, it's tough can be made super sharp, (sorry I don't know how sharp it is I've never carried or used it I have one with a spear blade I keep in a Bug Out Bag, I've used it to chop yhrough 5 inch trees to make shelter and still been able to shave hair.

This is the same steel that Cold Steel used in their famous Trail Master with the Carbon V blade.

This is a pic of the same knife but the one I'm sendin' is just the knife no box.

Good Luck

I'll guess Christopher.
I can pay the extra shipping to Canada, if you'd be okay with that.:)

Like many others I'm not entering but I know you'll give a Merry Christmas to someone in need...OF A KNIFE!!! :D

i will guess Paul. I like cold steel knives actually have one high and cold steel, that I keep by my bed and generally really appreciate, I don't have a model in their carbon V. series and would appreciate it. Given my collection includes about 30 different knives for just about any occasion. I can't say that I am truly desperately need. But it would be appreciated. If I get it in someone else's close or obviously in need. I will forego my guess but thank you.

I'm going to guess Philip.
As far as need goes, (sniff) I got laid off almost three months ago, and the local unemployment rate is over 8%, meaning that every job opening receives about 4 billion applications, so I have not gotten a nibble from any of the roughly 10,000 resumes I've sent out. (violins in background) I have a wife and three sons to support, and, currently, no way to do that. -sigh- I am currently attempting to collect some bladesmithing equipment, but with no income, that is difficult.

The nice thing is, I have been able to spend some real good, quality time with my boys.

Thanks for the contest!
