Somewhere around 1983 I purchased a 112 (I think) from a sporting goods store in N.J. Micarta handle and a real peach of a knife - long since misplaced. I have been agonizing over a 110 for the longest time and tonight decided to take the plunge due to what I consider a ridiculously good price.

I know I will be more than happy - but just wanted to share my excitement!

And here it is -

Noticed the swedge was sharper than expected. Not dangerously sharp but surprisingly pointy. Fit and finish are first class and the overall balance, though heavy, feels very nice in hand.

I am very happy to have this beauty in my collection.

Congrats jack, you will be pleased! Maybe you could also get a 112 to keep it company;)

Well done.

I suspect it won't be long before you buy more.......you know, you could watch e-Bay with patience and eventually pick up a Micarta 112 with a full blade and send it to Buck for a Spa treatment and you'd about have your first 112 again because it would look almost like new.

:)

Congrats on picking up a great knife, B U T...it's not a 112. Something still to look forward to, I guess:-)

Great start but be careful just like potato chips you can not have just 1
