After your first, how quickly did you get your second?

I'm a little curious about how quickly all of you got your second custom Emerson. It always seemed I was literally a minute too late to get the CQC-8 I've been wanting. Then, out of the blue, mine's ready for delivery. Bam! a month later, I buy another. Strange to go all of that time and not be able to get one and then get two so quickly.

If ignorance is bliss,
why aren't more people happy?

About a month. Got a Viper 5 at the NY Show in Nov. '97 and then picked up a CQC 9 off the forums shortly thereafter.

Once in a while you get shown the light
In the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Sometimes it seems like you can hunt high and low for a custom and not find one. Suddenly several appear without warning as we've evidenced here on the forums lately.

One must always be dilligent in looking for Emerson Customs!

There has been quite a exchange of knives lately among our small but "growing" family. The gallery still continues to be updated when changes are made, but lately due to the swapping of knives within our group the numbers have not changed, only individual ownership.

There are still a couple of knives that I'm aware of that have been sold and are unacounted for, such as the Black bladed CQC6 that Les Robertson sold several months ago. If anyone here is the proud owner of this knife or any others out there that are unacounted for please let John or myself know!

I recieved a CQC6 and picked up a CQC7 about three months or so later. It's gotten ugly from there.

Bought my second custom about 15 minutes after the first one. It arrived about 5 days after the first.

I could not make up my mind....so, what the hell...I bought both. Gee, now I am stuck with an extra one......

No, I am not joking.....but, I consider myself pretty fortunate to have fallen into these two.

About two months. My first was the realization of a dream, I wanted one for years, looked for years, then finally took the plunge on. Two months later, I just happen to find one at a local sporting goods store at a price that while I really didn't want to pay, I couldn't pass up

.
This is an addiction, I can't go more than a day without "CQC8" entering my thoughts!

It's looking like getting your 2nd Emerson happens much quicker than getting the first. This is interesting. I wonder if this is a coincidence, or is there some mysterious force at work? Compelling us to buy more......
