You call up Kit Carson, Darrel Ralph, Tom Mayo, and so on and get a CUSTOM folder!

Actually, I got the BM 730 I'd wanted for a while. I got one used so I wouldn't have to carry the Sebenza all the time, especially in particularly hazardous or dirty situations.

I don't carry it though. I carry the Sebenza all the time anyway.

I traded my sebenza for Benchmades and spydercos. I liked having it, but I like having 6 extremely high quality factory knives even more. I hate to say it, but to me they are just another knife. Extremely well made, but not as magical as some would have you beleive.

Always remember - you are unique, just like everyone else.

i have to agree with brian.

i met mr and mrs reeve at blade, and both were expremely nice folks. the knives they make are extremely nice as well. top of the line as far as production goes, but not for me.

i handled several at different booths and found the craftsmanship to be outstanding on all of them, but they'r not for me (yes,i know i said that twice)

i would also rather have several high quality knives,or a custom made to my specs, than a sebby.

-mo,
preparing to be jumped.

Sebenzas are truly premium, functional tools and I treasure and use both of mine. But with a custom, you can have that special knife you always dreamt of made.

For me, thats a medium Carson model 4 clip point in 420V

Pair of DDR folders (they were on order before I got the small Sebenza, which eased the waiting pains, and turned out to be an incredible knife, too-as expected).
Between the three of them, they have killed any desire I have for "normal" knives.

I'd rather have a few good friends than a herd of acquaintances
