Aftermarket clip for Chaves Ultramar

Does anyone know of an aftermarket clip that will fit the Chaves Ultramar?

I love the knife but I never carry it because the stock clips are too tight. I've tried both included clips - the skull clip and the plain one - and both hold so tightly onto my jeans that they are impossible to remove one-handed. I have to reach over with my other hand and pull the end of the clip out to get it out of my pocket.

Anything that fits a Benchmade. I mounted a MXG Benchmade onto a Chaves CHUB flipper.

I tried just now with the clips from my Mini Freek and from my Crooked River and although the holes on the clips do line up, the screws on the Chaves are much thicker than those on the Benchmade. So the original Chaves screws will not fit through the holes on the Benchmade clip, and the Benchmade screws are too skinny for the holes in the frame of the Chaves.

I used the Chaves screws. But it was an MXG clip. I didn't have any issues.

You might possibly be able to drill out the holes in a Benchmade clip. I haven't tried this.
I did try drilling a hole into a different manufacturers sheath clip once. I had to use a Dremel with a conical shaped grinding stone. Drill bits wouldn't touch it.

Thanks! Yeah I think I’ll give MXG a try. It seems like they list the benchmade clips as having T6 screws and the ones on my Chaves are T8. You’re right though I probably can Dremel the holes wider if necessary.
