Aftermarket composite handles for CS Trail Hawk?

I suspect this has been covered in the "Mod'ing The CS Trail Hawk" thread, but that baby is 100+ pages, and I'm at work, so going through that thread isn't happening at this time. Who makes a composite handle that I could just bang into place? I know Vector001 does the whole mod himself, but all I want is the handle. Half the fun with a hawk is making a tree branch handle in the woods, slapping on a composite handle for throwing, etc. Thanks in advance.

Bahco made or makes a composite handled tomahawk. Not sue if the handle is proprietary to their heads though.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like that will fit. Come on, there must be composite shafts out there since CS Trail Hawks are so popular.

Other then Vecs, I haven't seen direct replacement handles. For the price, you could buy a full tang hawk. In my opinion you would end up with a more reliable hawk.

There's info on the web if you feel like making your own synthetic handle. You could probably make one out of bar stock aluminum or G10.

In my experience the only increase you get with a one piece hawk over one of Vec's is in weight (within normal use, to include throwing). His composites are very durable.
