Aftermarket extended button Axis bar ?

Does anyone make an aftermarket extended button axis bar for a mini grip ? I put new Wilkins grips on my 555HG and the buttons are recessed below the G10 slot.

If the buttons were a tad longer it would be great, but are very difficult to get my fingers on now. The Wilkins are blocky in shape, and not contoured and thinner radius like the factory version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you do not come with a solution wet/dry sanding may be the fix. Sand it down but for the price paid for Wilkins grips you may need to contact Wilkins first.

Well that would be a last resort, it would take a lot of sanding work to fit my thumb/index. A bunch of guys have aftermarket parts for the Griptilians, hoping to find a Custom machinist that makes an extended/longer button version....that's the simplest fix.

swap bars? don't have a regular size grip to mic lockbar for you, but maybe someone could do that for you, to check against your mini.
My bugout bars at widest part are 0.434" n 0.429"; 940 is 0.548".

just looked at 3 bars, small medium n large. Now that axis is out of patent maybe a custom mini with larger lugs are available? Duckduckgo is your friend. just searched string
"larger mini grip axis bar " here and got no relevant hits.

You can taper the edges of the oval slot with a file. This would allow your thumb/finger to get closer to the button ends of the lock bar.
