Aftermarket modifications?

I just picked up several Randalls and I want to EDC a model #23 and #15 that have Micarta handles. Not worried about collecting value, just wanting finger groves added. Micarta is very slippery when wet....

I use a drum sander to add finger grooves, but be careful with the Micarta dust.

I find just adding one makes a lot of difference.

Thinking about also bead blast and bluing the blade.

One is stainless, so bluing is not going to do much. The other looks like carbon steel, it will get a nice patina with use. No need to blue it.
