Just got done installing my new orange scales from blade scales. Installation was easy fit and finish is good.

grate looking,i to tired of the blurple ones on my S110V in short time,but always new i would replace them,nice job you did there.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
Recent additions: Sorry in advance for poor picture quality...

Putman Aluminum Honeycomb scales added to Spyderco PM2 S110V in place of stock blurple scales with satin blade
&
Flytanium Copper scales added to Spyderco PM2 S30V in place of camo scales with satin blade - NO PATINA YET!

Both awaiting Lynch deep-carry clips...

Joe, care to share the source of those fine looking scales? That marbled carbon fiber is speaking to me!

Steve does great work with Kirinite, I like the extra heft it gives the Para2 and with the slightly rounded contour it's so comfortable to wield.

I was hoping mine would come out more like yours...but it wasn't meant to be, lol.
I've got a Cruwear PM2 sitting here, waiting for new handles - I've been waiting on copper or brass flytanium; but I might give in and go with OD AWT scales. (I can always use the brass/copper for Maxamet, lol)
 
Actually I was hoping mine would come out more like the Military he did for me, but the same coloration wasn't quite there. Ah well, they're both beautifully made and very nice to use.

I have an M390 Para2 here, that Smurf Blue really isn't for me so I'm considering scale options for that.
I think the Gray G10 on the Maxamet might work for me though.

These scales are by aratech from Russia.
They are contoured and smooth. The other side of this pm2 is original digicam scale. Original is grippy and thinner. This way i get the best of both worlds :). When you squeeze the knife in right hand the cf scale feels nice and round.

I put some cf looking vinyl on the clip. It gets scratched up, but last implementation of it, lasted me over 4 months. I wear this pm2 with dark clothes and it hides well. Its a pretty thin vinyl. I'm thinking of checking out some deep carry clip. The spot were the clip mounts on these scales is recessed down. I like the lynch looking clip, with a circle, but i think it's too thick. Ill probably try the one palonej is sporting.
