Hey guys I am looking to upgrade some hardware on my PM2s…
Mostly I want new screws, since the ones that come with the knife are soft as butter..

I was looking into getting a set (or 2) of the hardware from Flytanium, but after reading the description I’m not too sure…

“Titanium screws are a great way to upgrade the look of your knife, however they do require a little finesse as they are not as strong as steel screws, and may break if too much pressure is applied during installation. We recommend using high quality torx bits to ensure the best experience.”

So what I am asking basically, is this actually going to be an upgrade compared to the factory PM2 screws? For what it’s worth, Spyderco is the only company I can think of that I have been worried about stripping the screws. No problem with other brands, but I don’t want to spend $50 for hardware if it’s going to also strip easily.
Thanks !

Edit to add: if anyone knows where to get just a high quality set of screws for the PM2, that’s all I’m really looking for, I don’t need the full hardware kits

Best I can say is you are probablysafe to go for it. I haven't used theirs but hinderers anodized screws are ti. I think. They worked great. They are so tiny as long as you don't go over board you should be fine

KivesPlus sales aftermarket hardware. I purchased some of their inhouse brand for a Para 3, and I haven't experienced any issues with them.
