Aftermarket Rolex band

They make a very nice strap, reminds me of omega's ploprof strap or some of the Doxa bands. I have used rubber most of the time diving, tried the zulu bands and didn't care for them wet. Although the deep sea has one of the best dive extensions around a good rubber strap would be a nice change. I often change back and forth from rubber to bracelet on my favorite watches. I've got one coming from Germany in the next week or so that matches the dial on my Lime Stowa Prodiver. That should stand out for miles lol.
 
There is nothing "cheap" about anything that has to do with Rolexes. Wait until you see how much it costs to get your watch serviced. If you have Rolex service it, it will cost you more than your new watch band. :eek:
 
Last time I checked, it's in the neighborhood of $600.
 
No surprise there. I have my Datejust serviced by a local jeweler we've been doing business with for over 30 years. He charges more like $200. But that's still spendy just to have a watch cleaned and serviced. You could buy a pretty decent watch brand new for that kind of money. Still, I've been wearing my Rolex for going on 20 years. I'd be lucky to wear it 20 more.

I've had this DSSD since April so it will be a while before I need to think about that.

 
By the way, you and I have birthdays coming up pretty soon. January is a busy month for folks like us. And don't let anybody fool you. Your first birthday is a BIG DEAL. You get to celebrate that birthday for you. After that you celebrate them for the newcomers.
 
Yup. My 1 year coin is going on the end of a lanyard for my next DDR.
 
Got it! It was a little difficult removing the spring bars but installation was easy. I like how my watch matches my knife.



 
I got my first Rolex today. Oh wait no I didn't. F U that have one. Seriously jealous of both CM . That Tatanka is as sick as any blade I've seen you mod.
 
Looks good CM hows it feel on the wrist? I really like how thick it is at the case and the way it fits.
 
Feels great. I'm guessing it's almost 2 ounces lighter. My hands aren't the most accurate at weights these days... haven't "calibrated" them since my dope dealing days.

I like the wide straps like that a lot they do seem to be very comfortable. Back when I dived a lot I was using a 24mm ploprof style strap that was very comfortable and worked very well.

That looks nice. I love wrist bricks. For a couple years, I wore a RGM 300. I had a Sub before this but it always felt so small even though I don't have huge wrists.

LOL. Dude your funny. I don't laugh much but half of what you post i do. I was gonna commment on the post you made on the paying the cops back through your dealing by paying them back by taking "some, most?" of your blades but didn't want to laugh at that cause me personally I'd be sick with anger at the PO and that's not the Post office with anger and resentment.:rolleyes: I hope you get to do later on in life what you want to do CM. Someday the goverment will realize, there is worse than just drugs but the way people are in general. Like most of the people employed in the government are "Filth". My cousin is a "immaculate" person never hurt nobody just tried to make himself feel better from "chemicals" and he is in prison for 8+ years. I don;'t believe he deserves to be in prison all that time. Sorry for taking convo off track but.... Hope things turn around for people and just keep doing what your doing. I'm drunk finally drank bottle of JD started this morning. Still sober enough though to know between right and wrong and the system is more wrong than right most of the time.

Damn that is a nice watch. I hate you bastids.;)Was hoping that pic was taking in USA but in Mexico eh? Got any pics of the wildlife in Mexico?
 
I agree. Legalize everything. Let those who can't handle their drugs ... Darwin will take care of them! I believe that a living/dead victim must be presented for a crime to be charged. No loss/damage to life or property... no crime.

I can't seem to find any of the pics of fish we swam with, got a couple snorkeling pics my daughter took at about 15ft with a disposable camera. Didn't have a camera when we actually were diving so no pics of that.
