Anyone know if there is anyone producing aftermarket scales for the Ritter Hogue RSK? I know the BM versions wont fit (different pivot, different liner layout etc). I know the first thing people will ask is what is wrong with the G10 scales that it comes with and the answer is not much in terms of functionality they are fine but the texture is a big aggressive and I am on a micarta and CF kick.

I haven't seen any aftermarket scales from a company. You would have to get someone to make a one-off handmade set. Either someone like Knathan's Knives on youtube, or someone like me.
You could also sand down the texture some on your existing scales, but that doesn't solve your micarta and CF infatuation :)

Yeah I did sand down the space under the clip for my mini but was thinking of getting it a big brother fullsize when they come back in stock but would love some micarta scales for it.

Looking at the scales, I think its mostly doable by hand (not easy though). The biggest problem is the clip screws, the stock scales have press/mold in threads for the clip screws. Not something easily done for us DIY type guys.

Do you make scales for the zt 0350?

I thoroughly researched custom scales for the Hogue Ritter and have yet to find anyone doing them. Maybe still hope?

You would think someone on a forum like this could put together a group buy. If you had 50 people signed up to buy them I would think one of the usual makers would be happy to make a batch.

I have a few of these for griptillians and then one for a manix 2. Great scales.

I sent an email to their team over there asking about a timeline for the fullsize Ritter scales and they gave a timeline of early 2023 so probably January/February

I've been looking for an aftermarket option. Bought a mini ritter and the CF is the shreddiest scale material I've gotten on any knife ever, don't know why they made it so aggressive. You can't even wipe the scales with a tissue without the tissue fibers getting instantly ripped by the scales.
