Aftermarket Sheaths

Sorry if this has been thoroughly discussed, but I'm not finding it anywhere.

Do any sheathmakers have the RC line on hand for custom sheaths? I guess I kind of have a kydex sheath in mind, but would be open to leather as well.

I am looking for pants for my RAT Pack knife/RC3.

Here are some that I have seen online. I don't have an RC-3 and can't speak to the quality of the sheaths. I have purchased from Chestnut Ridge and they are excellent.

Matt, at Miller Custom Sheaths made me a bushcraft style kydex sheath for my RC-3. He was fast and the quality was excellent. Here is his pic and one of mine:

If you're looking at kydex, I would for sure try to get ahold of Shotgunner11 aka Double Barrel Sheaths. He makes some good stuff. Maybe he can post up a few pics.

He needs to get the wife to work on that website.

:thumbup: I have to agree with these guys, I bought a couple of his sheaths for my RC4 & Izula (with a versatile firesteel attachment), and they came out great, tight fit and custom to my liking. You figured, he is familiar with RC knives & makes kydex sheaths, you know the sheath will be well made and properly fitted (no wiggle or rattle). I don’t have a camera to post pics, sorry. I just got a sheath from Matt at Invictus Kydex. http://www.invictuskydex.com/ Here's a photo from his website, but I have the same sheath for my RC-3MIL.

He makes some quality stuff that is well thought out. Very professional to deal with, willing to work with what you want, great communication and FAST shipping. I carry this knife in my pocket at work, and can reach in and "pop" the sheath off with my thumb.

Everywhere else I have a section of paracord that goes through the bottom of the sheath and loops around my belt. I stick the sheath in my waistline, and just grab the handle and pull for instant access.
