Aftermarket spring for Native 5

Just bought a new Native 5 SPY27. Nice knife, but the back lock is insanely strong and difficult to open. I know it's the backlock because when I take out the spring, the blade moves freely with no play.
Are there any aftermarket parts out there for the spring?

If I bend the spring, it'll ease off a little tension but it won't hold the close detent anymore because of the way it's shaped, and I don't want that either. There's no way to reposition the spring within the frame. Really I just want one that's not as strong.
 
you either have to work the knife a lot to break it in.
Or bend it very slightly.. A few degrees where is it still has good lock up.
