Specifically for a pm2. Without being able to actually look, touch, feel, just looking on the interweb. Whose are best? I love crk scales but realize these are a different animal. I know the names of the major players just looking for opinions from folks who actually have them.
Mark.

You will be looking for some glass bead blasted scales for the crk finish, more of a matte finish. Have a pm2 with Meton Boss Ti falcon scales. I like them a lot. Different designs can give you other finishes. Tried flytanium to scales decent. There's other companies, hope some other folks can chime in. Oh, check out Rockscale designs (RSD), might be what your looking for.

I recently bought some cheap ti scales from smkw . They’re kinda plain(SW), but they fit well and they definitely make the knife feel more solid. Flytanium has some nice looking contoured ti scales, can’t speak to the F&F personally , but I’ve heard good things

RG Custom Metal Works makes the finest PM2 scales I have handled or seen. They are a little slimmer than others and go really nicely with a Rockscale backspacer.

any ease of assembly differences between those mentioned here and perhaps Rtg’s as well? Looking to freshen up a pm2 and pm3. Very useful thread, thank you!

None if you are using factory hardware. Using an aftermarket lanyard tube/backspacer/insert will also save you some trouble reassembling, regardless of the scales you choose (the aftermarket inserts are usually slightly smaller diameter).

If you use aftermarket screws for instance, there is a slight chance you may have some issues with fit, depending on the screws.

Another good option is Original Goat, I have a set of their aluminum scales on my para 3 and they're fantastic. They do titanium as well. Great customer service and reasonable prices.
